A new milestone in Big Air kitesurfing! Lewis Crathern has made history, recording an incredible 42.6-metre jump on his 7m Harlem Peak and setting a new WOO height world record.
With winds howling at over 50 knots, massive swell rolling in and a powerful British storm delivering extreme conditions, Lewis seized the opportunity to push the limits of what's possible in Big Air.
23 October 2026. Just Lewis, the storm and his Peak.

The Perfect Storm
It was one of those classic, unpredictable British storms. After blowing throughout the night from the southeast, the wind shifted to west-northwest the following day, bringing winds exceeding 50 knots and huge swell.
For Lewis, the conditions presented both an extraordinary challenge and an opportunity.
But this session wasn't about chasing numbers. In fact, Lewis had decided to simplify his time on the water, leaving behind the distractions of filming, social media and constantly tracking his performance.
"No watch, no GoPro, no thinking about filming or sharing everything on social media. Just me, the wind and enjoying being out there. I felt like I needed that."
What followed was a session he would never forget.
42.6 metres above the water. A new world record.
The record was confirmed through WOO's official review process, in which the highest jumps are assessed by a refereeing committee to ensure the validity of the results.
The Harlem Peak: Built to Push Limits
Behind every record-breaking jump is a combination of skill, experience, conditions and equipment that gives the rider the confidence to commit.
For Lewis, the Harlem Peak has become an important part of that equation.
"Having the Peak in my toolbox has been a game-changer. The 7m is something really special, and remarkably, yesterday was only the second time I've used it."
Designed for Big Air performance, the Harlem Peak delivers explosive vertical lift, extended hangtime and precise, predictable control, giving riders the confidence to push further, even in the most demanding conditions.
Whether it's breaking world records, standing on top of the podium or simply jumping higher and achieving a new personal best, the Peak is built to take your riding to the next level.

A Kite With a Winning Track Record
Lewis's world record adds another remarkable achievement to the Harlem Peak's growing list of Big Air successes.
From back-to-back GKA Big Air World Championship titles with Lorenzo Casati in 2025 and Leonardo Casati in 2026, to Lorenzo's victories at Red Bull King of the Air and Red Bull Megaloop in 2025, the Peak has consistently proven its performance on the biggest stages.
More recently, the Peak powered an unforgettable all-Harlem podium sweep at Cold Hawaii 2026, with Leonardo Casati taking first place, Lorenzo Casati second and Stino Mul third.
And in January 2026, Clément Huot set a new WOO world record with a 37.3-metre jump, raising the bar for the Big Air community. Since then, Clément has continued pushing his limits, reaching 39.5m and currently sitting fourth on the Woo height leaderboard.
Now, with Lewis reaching an extraordinary 42.6 metres, another milestone has been added to the Peak's story.
"This one is for the team. Everyone at Harlem, back at the warehouse and at Brainchild Production. The hard work that goes into developing and producing this equipment gives us, the riders, the confidence to go out in conditions like these and push the limits of what's possible in extreme Big Air," shared Lewis.
A special moment not only for Lewis, but for everyone at Harlem and Brainchild who puts their passion and hard work into bringing these kites to life.
"I'm sure someone will go bigger soon, and that's what makes our sport so exciting. I'm incredibly proud of what we've achieved together."
And that's exactly what makes Big Air so exciting. The limits keep moving, the riders keep progressing, and every new milestone inspires the next.
Massive congratulations to Lewis on this incredible achievement, and to everyone behind the scenes who helped make it possible.
