Global Head of Sales
This is a high-impact role that offers the opportunity to be a part of our global sales operations and to contribute significantly to the growth and success of our company.
The primary focus areas of the role are to generate additional revenue in new and existing countries, develop an overall multi-channel innovative sales strategy and to set the team up for implementation success. This is to be achieved through effective marketing and strategic partnerships with kite shops, potential distributors, and kite schools across international markets. The ambition is to double current sales y-o-y by establishing additional distribution channels and volumes. We fully believe we can grow into the top 5 global players in the industry. Some proof points of our recent positive brand impact on the market are the enormous demand for our innovative, sustainable products, the awesome results of our athletes in the world championships and the best product design team with world nr 1 kite designer Ralf Groesl and G.O.A.T. and legendary kitesurfer Aaron Hadlow. This mix of superpowers has seen our sales significantly grow in the last year.
The company has moved from Start up to Scale up in the past year. This means the role will require you to be comfortable to get involved in all aspects of the sales process where and when necessary. It will also be key to improve the sales processes to be foundationally strong to support the exponential growth ambition.

Responsibilities
- In close collaboration with the company management team, develop sales, partnerships and channel strategies to grow the brand globally
- Hands on implementation of the strategies including all aspects (identifying, prospecting, outreach, assessment, alignment, negotiations, & commercial closing of B2B deals ensuring healthy margins for the company)
- Coordinating a network of channel partners and managing channel performance
- Lead sales forecasting on an annual basis for all accounts globally and set sales targets for the team
- Lead the development and implementation of customer account plans, defining key account strategies and objectives, and follow up accordingly
- Take a leadership role to deliver the sales plan with our partners and sales staff
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with new and existing key B2B clients and partner organisations, ensuring their satisfaction and addressing inquiries and concerns
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management team. Collaborate with the senior management team to identify areas for improvement
- Attend industry events and conferences to network, promote Harlem Products and identify potential new clients
- Drive continuous improvement in sales processes and sales performance
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales management, preferably in a global outdoor-/action- sport goods context
- The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets, and a demonstrated ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies
- This role requires a do-er and strategic thinker in one, with excellent teamworking and communication skills, who can inspire and motivate a diverse team to achieve ambitious sales growth targets
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty
- Exceptional negotiation abilities
- Strong time management, organisational and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with tight deadlines including ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business needs
- Passion for outdoor (water) sports activities is preferred – even better if you are or want to be a kitesurfer
- Willingness to travel internationally as required
- Fluency in English - additional language (French or German) is a plus
- Due the current size of the company we expect a great amount of flexibility and teamwork from our people to cover a breadth of tasks at times when needed

Warehouse Employee
12 – 20 hours per week
What You Will Do
Your responsibilities will include managing incoming and outgoing goods, accurately keeping track of inventory, and ensuring a well-organized warehouse. You will work with a team of enthusiastic kiters.
- Collecting, packing, and preparing goods for customer orders for shipment
- Assisting with loading and unloading goods
- Receiving, inspecting, and registering goods and storing them
- Checking the quantity, quality, and labeling of orders; reporting any irregularities to the supervisor and/or in the inventory system if necessary
- Organizing the warehouse: keeping track of what is stored and where
- Counting inventory and keeping the warehouse tidy and clean
- Possibly helping with preparing kites for repairs

Working Hours and Location You need to be available for 12 to 20 hours per week in the afternoons from Monday to Thursday. You will work at our headquarters in Vijfhuizen.
