Double podium for Harlem at Lords of Tram 2026

Double podium for Harlem at Lords of Tram 2026

Strong winds. Insane action. Pure competition drama. Lords of Tram delivered once again.

Over two days, the cold and relentless Tramontana transformed the Barcarès lagoon into a full-blown Big Air arena — pushing every rider to their absolute limits.

This year, at the first stop of the GKA Big Air World Championships Harlem showed up with its biggest team to date: four riders in the men’s division and two in the women’s. And we left our mark — securing podiums in both.

LEONARDO CASATI — BACK ON THE PODIUMYoung gun Leonardo Casati delivered once again, claiming 3rd place for the second year in a row.

At just 16 years old, Leo powered through the semifinals, taking down big names like Andrea Principi and Cohen van Dijk to secure his spot in a stacked final against Jamie Overbeek, Finn Flügel, and Zac Adams.

Powered by his 9m Peak and Ascent setup, Leo held his ground in a high-intensity final — going all in, riding with confidence and precision, and locking in another podium finish.

LANA HERMAN — STRONG COMEBACK

In the women’s division, Lana Herman made a powerful return to Barcarès after missing last year due to injury.

Pushing hard and riding fully committed, Lana delivered one of the standout performances of the event — scoring the highest jump in the women’s division (19.8m) and the highest total heat score (20.23).

A well-earned 3rd podium place, proving she’s belongs amongst the best.

SARAH SADEK — POWER AND PROGRESSION

Sarah Sadek stood out with fearless riding — trading the warm waters of Egypt for the freezing, gusty conditions of Barcarès without holding back.

From technical combinations to a impressive double loop on day one, Sarah pushed hard throughout the competition. She made it through to the semifinals, going head-to-head with teammate Lana, but narrowly missed out on a place in the final.

A strong and promising performance.

LORENZO CASATI — A TURN OF EVENTS

Reigning World Champion and King of the Air winner Lorenzo Casati faced one of the most intense and unexpected moments of the event.

At the end of Round 3, Lorenzo appeared to have secured his place in the semifinals. However, after the heat, judges reviewed and reclassified a trick from Josué San Ferreira, reshuffling the rankings and pushing Lorenzo out of qualification.

Lorenzo filed a protest, as his final trick strategy had been based on the initial scoring information he was given.

Before the semifinals on day two, both riders were given an additional eighth attempt to decide who would advance. Josué did not show for the heat, and with only one attempt available, Lorenzo was unable to improve his score — missing out on the semifinals in a tough and unusual turn of events.

STINO MUL & CLÉMENT HUOT  — PUSHING THE LIMITS

Stijn Mul showed determination, consistency and lots of passion, making it to Round 3 and missing out on the next round by just 0.28 points.

Local standout Clément Huot — current twintip world record holder — lit up the spot with his signature style, sending it in front of a home crowd and adding serious energy to the event.

ON TO THE NEXT

A powerful performance from the entire Harlem team — and a strong start to the season.

GKA Big Air World Tour is officially underway, and all eyes now turn to the final stop in Mykonos, Greece this June.

Strong winds, choppy waters, and everything still to play for.

We’re just getting started.
