What a nerve-wracking finale at the most anticipated event of the year! The legendary Cape Doctor winds made their return just in time for the final hours of the 12th edition of Red Bull King of the Air, setting the stage for intense action that kept us on the edge of our seats until the last rays of the day.

A true champion, Lorenzo Casati dominated every heat, showcasing unmatched extremity, consistency, and mastery from start to finish. Powered by our latest kite in development, Project Peak, Lorenzo took on huge swells and soared to incredible heights, landing jaw-dropping trick after trick, including the highest-scoring one of the day (8.54 points) with a massive Kiteloop Backroll Board-Off. He also achieved the highest total heat score of the event in Round 3, cementing his place as one of the best Big Air riders in the world.

In the final showdown, Lorenzo narrowly missed the Crown to fellow countryman Andrea Principi by an incredibly tight margin of just 0.18 points. Now more motivated than ever, Lorenzo has his sights set firmly on the throne for next year. Congratulations, Lorenzo!
A big shout-out to fellow team rider Clement Huot, who gave it his all in Round 2. Despite the winds not being in his favour this time, we can’t wait to see more of him tearing it up on the water soon!
