Day 2 of Red Bull King of the Air was a dramatic test of endurance and perseverance, with shifting wind conditions pushing everyone to their limits and setting the stage for an unforgettable showdown.
The day began with promise, only to be halted twice during Heat 10 as the wind failed to deliver. But patience paid off. At 17:45 local time, the Cape Doctor finally returned — gusting above 30 knots — allowing the remainder of Round 2 and Round 3 to light up the late afternoon sky as the sun dipped behind Table Mountain.
When Heat 10 finally ran, Harlem’s Leonardo Casati made it count. Packed with power, Leo went all in, landing aggressive tricks that wowed the crowd. The third time was the charm: he completed his heat and advanced to Round 3.

As evening settled in, Round 3 delivered the kind of drama that cements legends in Big Air kitesurfing.
Leonardo kept his momentum roaring, outscoring Netherlands’ Timo Boersema in Heat 14 with 27.14 points. The young Italian has given notice to the world’s best.
In the following heat, Lorenzo Casati returned to the arena, scoring 28.03 over Shahar Tsabary and securing a firm place in the semis.

With both Casati brothers advancing, the Harlem Family now dares to dream: Lorenzo and Leonardo are one heat away from a potential brother-vs-brother final — a showdown that would be nothing short of historic.
